We visited our partners at Koma and Tansaibo once more on July 27. We were overjoyed to gather 5.2 kilograms of scraps this time, including a variety of stems from herbs, carrot peels, and onion skins.

Soon, these leftovers will be turned into nutrient-rich fertilizer, which will aid nearby farms in organically nourishing their soil. A circular food system is one step closer with each kilogram of food waste kept out of the trash.

We are incredibly grateful to Koma and Tansaibo for their continued support of this mission and their meticulous preparation of their kitchen waste. These continuing partnerships serve as a reminder of the potency of community-based sustainability.
